There’s a popular beanie out there and this cowl resembles it. Easy purl and rib
stitches with some simple increases help it puddle.

Materials:
One skein worsted yarn. Sample was made with Cascade Lana D’Oro.
Size 8 circular needle – 16 -24 “. Size 7 for bind off.

Directions:
Cast on 88 stitches on 8’s and join to work in the round. Place marker to indicate
beginning of round. I encourage you to try the Chinese Waitress cast on. It makes a
lovely chained edge. Here’s an excellent video tutorial.

Turn to wrong side to bind off. (Just turn work and work back the way you came.)
Using size 7 needle, knit 2. Knit those two together through the back loop.
(TBL). ( I find the easiest way is to knit them together as if you were doing an
SSK. Insert left needle through the front of the stitches on the right needle
and knit them together.) You will have 1 stitch on the left needle.
Knit 1 and knit those 2 together TBL. and repeat.

Because you turned the work, you will have to close any gap when you finish the
bindoff join.
Block gently.
